F71 G-Cannon (Gundam F91)

Non grade Vintage 1/100 scale kit G-Cannon F71 from Gundam F91, made waaay back over 10 years ago. Dug up this old fellow from my store room, he was not in a good shape, many parts were broken and the paintwork is abit discolored, had to restore him up (cant find this kit anymore!), painted a few new details, re-outlined and topped off in a brand new coat of clear.

I think for an old kit (1990) the amount of details molded into this guy is amazing! If fixed properly i dare say it can even match todays HGUC standards...

Although manufactured by Anaheim Electronics, the G-Cannon was based on the designs of the F70 Cannon Gundam by SNRI (which works as an OEM for G-Cannon). While G-Cannon inherits the ability to remove the shoulder machine cannons and function as general purpose mobile suit, the overall performance is still inferior to Cannon Gundam. Nevertheless, this miniaturized mobile suit largely outperforms the Federation's RGM-109 Heavygun.

G-Cannon also utilizes the weapons system derived from the F90 Gundam Formula 90's mission pack. The shoulder machine cannons can be replaced by various equipments including the VSBR, a 200mm long range cannon and beam cannons. The most complex variant is the Powered Weapon Type.

If i had to pick a grunt unit to pilot it would be this guy! Im a sucker for AA guns and this guy is decked out in em, gives me the War Machine vibe with the wrist cannons lol. I love Anti Aircraft Guns! XD
